Orange Chowk

Hey, creative. Welcome home.

A letter from Orange Chowk

Imagine you're sitting inside a working studio.

Not a conference room. Not a stage. An actual studio where someone makes their work every day.

The person who built it is sitting right there with you. They're not giving a talk. They're just talking.

About what it actually took. The decisions nobody saw. The years before it looked like anything.

And everyone else in the room is doing the same. No panels. No Q&A. No one performing expertise.

Just a room of creatives who showed up to be honest about the work. That's Real Talk.

We've been doing this for a while now. Different studios, different cities, different stories.

But Real Talk always feels the same: like a conversation you didn't know you needed until you were in it.

This time, the studio is Yellow. The city is Mumbai. The date is 14th March.

Orange Chowk 🧡

By the numbers
From the gatherings
How it started

A simple frustration.

You learn best from someone who's already walked the path.
So we found a studio. Put chairs in a room. Invited creatives who were willing to learn, grow, and share.
One rule: everyone's perspective matters. There is no front of the room.
That first gathering changed something for everyone. So we kept going.
This Edition

Inside Yellow.
With Shrey.

Shrey Doshi founded Yellow in 2013 as a branding and creative agency. Today it spans brand strategy, social, content, film, and digital - built on the belief that brands are personal, and every story should be crafted with taste.

The question isn't how Yellow grew. It's how the standards survived the growth. That's what this conversation is about: the systems, the decisions, what to protect and what to let go.

Story, taste & the systems behind long-term creative work

We do narrative."
What the afternoon looks like
Intro
Quick, real introductions.
Not your job title. What you're actually working on right now.
Session 1
Yellow's journey, in depth.
Shrey takes us through it all - the decisions, the trade-offs, the things that don't make it into case studies. Ask anything.
Session 2
The topic of the day. Every voice.
Shrey opens a theme - taste, creative standards, building something that lasts. Then it becomes a conversation. Not a panel. Everyone who has something to share, shares. By choice, never by pressure. That's where the real learning happens.
After
The Orange Ritual. Then open space.
A small Orange Chowk closing ritual - then the room opens up. No agenda. People connect, exchange, linger. Nobody's in a rush to leave.

Only for creatives.
